BULLET

BULLET empowered companies to break away from traditional paper mail by digitizing and automizing all postal correspondence. Working as Head of Design for b10 | Venture Capital, I supported the BULLET team with customer research, user testing, a redesign of their sales funnel & future product design planning.

User journey workshop 

This workshop kicked off the design process with the BULLET team. We documented the status quo of the customer journey to get everyone thinking from the customer's point of view. Whether in person or remote, the necessary steps are the same. You need to:

  1. Establish the stages in the journey.
  2. Identify the information you wish to map.
  3. Gather the relevant data.

From this workshop, we identified the weak points of the user's journey up to and through the BULLET product. We chose what to test & formulated our assumptions.

User testing - sales funnel

We documented the user journey and defined our assumptions. Now it was time to test our assumptions by interviewing potential customers and testing the sales funnel from discovery through to onboarding. We ask open questions throughout. We made sure to select the correct test subjects and make sure our tests are consistent so as to get the most constructive feedback.

It was important to visualise the product design process for the team so we could discuss the prioritising of future design efforts

The subsequent design that followed allowed us to completely do away with the complex sign-up process. The focus was shifted to the demo process as a sales initiative.
